Challenge

The TORTOUR is the largest, multi-day non-stop ultracycling event in the world. The CHALLENGE is its own, shorter race format as part of the TORTOUR. The start and finish of the route are in Zurich. The approx. 520 kilometers allow easier preparation, less effort and still a great competition. The individual riders and teams need 14 to 28 hours for this route. The CHALLENGE is attractive for competitive athletes, amateur athletes as well as team athletes and companies. The race runs day and night – a great challenge for both riders and team. The CHALLENGE can also be ridden unaccompanied.

  • Individual riders, teams of 2 and 3
  • Men, women and mixed categories
  • Control resp. Changing posts (timestations) approx. Every 50 kilometers
  • The teams only ever have one rider on duty, the others drive with the support vehicle and change at each timestation (every approx. 50 kilometers).
Exception: The whole team rides the first and last stage together.
