Sprint

SPRINT is a further racing format to the multi-day nonstop ultracycling event TORTOUR ULTRA and CHALLENGE. The distance is around 270 kilometers clearly shorter and can only be ridden unaccompanied. So, as a solo rider, it’s a pretty long single time trial through the beautiful pre-Alpine landscape and the experience of unforgettable emotions. However, since 270 kilometers unaccompanied can be quite lonely, SPRINT can also be ridden in teams of 2 or 3 since 2017 and in teams of 6-8 (TTT) since 2021. Unlike the other racing formats, SPRINT’s teams always work together.

Thanks to easier preparation and less effort – also logistically – SPRINT makes it possible to get into ultracycling sport with a great competition or, because of its simplicity, also offers itself for foreign participants.

All riders complete the entire route – the teams together. All participants must therefore drive the entire kilometre.
